Entry Requirements:
- 18 years old
- Employed in a veterinary practice 7.5 hrs (1 day) per week
- Have an ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care OR ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Animal Care), OR other equivalent animal care qualification or higher
OR:
- 18 years old
- Completed year 12 or a Certificate IV or higher in any discipline
- Employed in a veterinary practice 7.5 hrs (1 day) per week
- Have equivalent experience and knowledge of someone holding a Cert II in Animal Studies.
You will need to complete an Application for Direct Entry and provide associated evidence.

Sounds like you could be eligible for the ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Unfortunately, to complete the Certificate IV you need to be working for at least 7.5 hours a week in a paid position as a veterinary nurse.
